Varies: There are several possibilities. Have you had recent surgery? It could represent a recurrent tear in thermos is or recurrence in the cyst. It is also pretty common in patients with those problems to have some degree of chondromalacia/arthritis that may be causing symptoms. I would not hesitate to be seen and evaluated fully.
