Depends: No set guidelines. Depends on baby's weight, age, appetite, and, once solids are introduced, how much food he/she is eating. Once solids are added, formula ounces should be scaled back. Baby may be drinking up to 6-8 ounces of formula per feeding. Try to limit total intake to no more than 32 ounces per 24-hour period. That’s the upper daily intake for babies 6 months and younger, according to AAP.
