Try to lomit btls: I would make sure the kid is brought to the table and sits while others eat.Make sure your meal plan includes something you can mash up and offer him.Over time he will want to sample some of what others eat. I'd continue formula in a sippy cup and only offer water in bottles to protect his teeth. When he is taking one or two solids a day a switch to milk is ok but limit to 24 oz/d.

Depends: We see this a lot in toddlers: they slow down their growth by a lot (only needing to gain 2-3 kg, 4-6 lbs, between their 1st and 2nd birthday) and so need a lot less food than, say, a 6 month old. If they like formula or milk better than solids, they can get all their nutrition from liquids and have no appetite left for solids. Milk really isn't nutritionally complete, stay with formula.

Picky toddlers: Many babies as they reach the end of their first year and into the second year, become 'pickier' eaters. Their growth slows down and they just don't need as many calories. But milk alone does not fill this gap. So if your child is picky eating solids, i would suggest a toddler formula - there are several out there now just for your type of child, who doesn't want much food. But use sippy cup!
