Yes: Pain in the lower abdomen is complex and requires a careful work up. The problem could be urinary, gynecological, or gastrointestinal. You need your doctor to complete a good history, physical exam and laboratory studies and possibly X-Ray to help identify the correct diagnosis. You may want to seek emergent evaluation with your pain. If you have fever with abdominal pain, an ER visit is a must.
