Probably not: In my practice, with my patients, I have found that the average dose of Klonopin, or clonazepam, is 1 or 2 mgs per dose, taken twice daily, for a total of 2 to 4 mgs total daily. You need to discuss with your treating physician what your specific diagnosis is, what other medications you are taking, and any other illnesses you may have to find your correct, optimal dose.
