Lower dose: There is a 0.5mg tablet that you can break in half. But if you have chronic anxiety you should consider an ssri to stop the periods of anxiety or panic.

Change meds: Klonopin (clonazepam) stays in your system for a long time and can cause sedation. I would suggest talking to your doctor about changing medication.

Lower still.: Klonopin (clonazepam) is a great medication to prevent anxiety. The best news I have for you is that you may need a much smaller dose.

Less sedating option: 1. You could take a lower dose. Clonazepam comes in 0.5 mg tablets. 2. There are less sedating tranquilizers, e.g., lorazepam, alprazolam. 3. There are less sedating non-tranquilizers that help anxiety, e.g., buspirone, ssri antidepressants. 4. There are non-medication treatments for anxiety, e.g., psychotherapy, mindfulness meditation, exercise, etc.
