Hard to say: If you are having severe pain and difficulty swallowing an abscess is possible. If you feel obstructed definitely get checked immediately at an urgent care or emergency room. The black spot could be blood. Please see a doctor as soon as you can.

Tonsillitis: One sided tonsillar enlargement is suspicious for abscess or neoplasm. If symptoms persist in 24 hours, consult ENT.
