Candidiasis ?: White spots coating anywhere in the mouth, including tonsils, is a typical symptom of oral candidiasis or oral thrush. If it’s oral thrush, white spots on tonsils are due to a fungal infection. Rec.: see ENT for definitive diagnosis and treatment.
