Tonsillitis: If you are under treatment for the tonsillitis and able to completely avoid the allergy trigger, the swelling should resolve in 10 to 14 days.

White spots on my uvula & tonsils. Left side looks a bit swollen. Negative for strep. No sore throat. Ent said tonsillitis & saw a "pus pocket" on one side. I had a bad cold for 5 wks. Could be mono?
There is a sore white spot underneath my tonsil. It is not a tonsil stone, I know that for sure. My best bet is that it is Tonsillitis or another infection. Should I visit the doctor fast or are there any at-home remedies?
