I have seen similar: I have seen similar symptoms in my practice with patients who have TMJ pressure from jaw/teeth clinching. Nocturnal (nighttime) clinching is related to anxiety/ stress and is quiet and not noticable by partner. Some additional symptoms include: headache, dizziness , ear pressure/ pain, clicking noise in front of ear, sore or sensitive teeth.
