Count pads/tampons: It is normal to have a little heavier bleeding after a miscarriage, but excessive blood loss can be dangerous. If you bleed much heavier than a normal period for more than 2 days, then you should see a healthcare provider and have your hemoglobin checked to make sure you are not getting anemia. You can estimate the amount of bleeding by keeping track of the number of tampons or pads that you use
