Nondiagnostic: Without examining this lesion it's not possible to make a diagnosis. Since this area stands out so much and has not changed in a month, I recommend that your physician examine it and advise you whether a consultation with a dermatologist is indicated. We are always concerned about melanoma when unusual skin lesions appear even though this could be the remnant of an old insect bite,for example.
