A member asked:

I just had my papsmear test and the result was presence of gram+ cocci, no pus cells seen. what does that mean? should i be alarmed?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

No alarm: Gram positive cocci can represent bacteria that are commonly found in lots of women's genital tract. It does not even mean that you have an infection.
