Yes: This sounds like a safe diet as long as your body weight is in normal range. Most people need more calories than this. If you are trying to lose weight definitely do not go below 1200 calories as that is unsafe. Make sure that you are eating lots of fresh fruits and vegetables and take a multivitamin daily. If you feel that you may have an eating disorder talk to your doctor.
