WHY???: Why is your iron (slightly) low? Low iron is almost always caused by blood loss. It is very important to you to identify the source of bleeding. Heavy menst? Frequent blood donations? Injury or surgery? Stomach ulcer? Cancer of colon or bladder? There is not a single skin problem treatable with iron. Hair loss was long said to be from low iron but this was disproved by recent research.
