It varies.: Many factors may affect the time of Hysterectomy. Condition of the uterus,previous operations,doctor skills,route abdominal,vaginal ,laparoscopic.Hysterectomy frequently accompanied by removal of ovaries and uterine tubes,but it is not mandatory .Time of surgery may vary from 45-50 min.to a few houars.In some cases after successful laparoscopic surgery patient may be discharged on the same day.
