Clomid (clomiphene): The idea of Clomid (clomiphene) is to trigger ovulation in those who do not ovulate. If you get pregnant then you won’t have period. If you ovulated but did not get pregnant then your cycle will come on time. If Clomid (clomiphene) did not “work” and you did not ovulate then the preexisting irregular menstrual cycle that triggered the use of Clomid (clomiphene) in the first place is still in effect and the cycle will be late
