Other symptoms?: It could be pneumonia, or only bronchitis. If no fever, chest pain, shortness of breath, or blood in the mucus, probably you can safely wait for two days. But if you have any of these, find a way to get medical care right away, such as an urgent care clinic or even a hospital emergency department. Get Examined: Not enough information. Pneumonia can be subtle-however, one is usually quite ill-ill enough to provoke seeking help. Fever, shortness of breath ,chest pains, weakness, extreme fatigue are some of the opther symptoms. Just coughing up mucous is not serious. The bubbling you hear on exhaling can be due numerous things, asthma,bronchitis among them. Get checked
