Pneumonia.: Symptoms would make sense for pneumonia. Were you prescribed an antibiotic? Was this confirmed with a chest X-ray? Generally, with adequate treatment your symptoms should stop, including the blood in the mucous. If the bleeding persists, then you’ll need more investigations into cause.
