Possibly: The NuvaRing is a fairly effective form of contraception but not as good as an IUD or a subdermal implant. You can get pregnant. Although your spotting" may be transient or intermittent "breakthrough bleeding" or may come from your cervix..., check your pregnancy test or consult your gynecologist for a Gyn exam, screening...if you are very concerned or spotting persists.
