Need more testing: The NuvaRing was artificially regulating your cycles. What is happening off of the NuvaRing reflects your body's production of hormones. It may be that you have lower levels of estrogen being produced to cause the lighter periods; or it may be that you are getting only breakthrough bleeding (not an actual 'menses'). If you are ovulating -it is on day 21. An ovulation test kit can help see.See dr.
