Scant bleeding: using birth control may result in post birth control amenorrhea (no period), because the lining of the uterus thins with birth control use. In addition if sexually active you need to check a pregnancy test. Lastly undiagnosed things like hypothyroidism and hyperprolactinemia can cause the same thing
