Benign: Polyps are usually benign growths in your uterus, Rarely they can be precancerous. They require a blood supply to survive and grow, When that blood supply is compromised, they necrose and calcify. If you have a calcified polyp in your uterus and it is not causing you symptoms, no intervention is needed.
