Is it safe to leave polyps up uterus if they turn out to be benign ?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Usually: It is possible to just watch endometrial polyps, since only about 1 out of 1000 are cancer. On the other hand, removal of the polyps will give you a better menstrual cycle and since you have hypothyroidism, which can cause you to miss periods, if your doctor recommends having a dilation and curettage, it would be the prudent thing to do.
