Yes: Yes, the chronic post nasal drip is likely causing you to be more of a mouth breather. This causes change in the quality and character of the saliva hence dry mouth, coated tongue, probably bad breath, etc. The scalloped or crenated tongue may be an indication of other health issues such as hypothyroidism
