Excess calories?: When we take in more calories than we burn, the excess calories are stored as fat, regardless of whether they come from carbohydrate protein or fat. Adding whey to a diet without reducing calories elsewhere can result in weight gain w increased fat %. Looking at weight alone, a stable weight with a new exercise program + whey may occur, but fat is being replaced w muscle. Belt size may go down.
