Mouth-breathing?: Since vigorous exercise involves mouth-breathing, this can dry up your mouth especially in cold or dry climate. I suspect that you may have some nasal congestion all along causing you to mouth-breathe often and thus the added burden with exercise makes you more aware of this condition. The 1st generation antihistamine tends to make the mouth drier by reducing salivation.
