Persistent dry cough since dec 2019 without fever. cough getting worse (no fever). i have coughing spells w very little discharge. there is at times a rattle in my throat & chest feels weird. allergy meds & rx antacids do not help. what's wrong w me?

Workup needed: Symptoms are of concern and need further assessment as a variety of conditions may contribute to such symptoms. Imaging and/ or upper endoscopy as well as a thorough ENT exam will be needed. From simple things such as a foreign body to much more complex structural and/or functional abnormalities affecting trachea or esophagus anything is possible. Start with your primary doc who can coordinate.
