Decongestant spray?: Realizing the drug implications of pseuodephedrine, will not a medical excuse free you from this. Finally, there are spray decongestants! but an ENT visit may be in order!

Afrin (oxymetazoline): Use this nasal spray about one-half hour before landing, about time descent begins. Is not needed for take off. Use only at this time and once or twice after landing. Try to avoid use while on ground or repetitively so that you will not start to build up a rebound effect. Learn how to do the valsalva maneuver.
