Blepharitis: Sounds like you have blepharitis, sometimes referred to as dandruff of the eyelashes. I have many patient that have problems with baby shampoo scrubs. I recommend ocusoft lid scrubs. If this does not take care of it, then you may need an antibiotic and possibly steroid drop or combination to treat the condition. Oral omega 3's can help the health of the eyelid margin as well.

Environmental cause: Sometimes things in you environment like new furniture, carpeting, painting, etc. Or even soaps that you use for sheets nad clothing can lead or aggravate the disease.
