A member asked:

I had bowen's disease removed from my keg last year - what are the chances of me getting it again?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Skin cancer: Bowen's disease is a form of skin cancer that occurs more commonly in people who have risks for this kind of cancer than others (white skin, history of sun exposure). A history of these risks as well as a history of having these risks result in your getting cancer both suggest that you are at increased risk for a recurrence. If you are attentive to skin changes and get follow-up you will be fine.
