Ask doctor: I would ask your doctor who made the diagnosis as your doctor knows how much of a hernia is present. You should hold off on strenuous exercises, till given the go ahead by your doctor.

See your doctor: A hiatus hernia is very common condition which usually does not cause symptoms or problems. If it does, you should be evaluated by your physician and she/he can frequently treat the problem effectively according to your symptoms.
