Last week i started having gerd like symptoms after eating some spicy food. now i have a slue of symptoms. dysphagia, sore throat, tender xiphoid, and random body aches. when i lift my arms above my head you can see the xiphoid. hiatal hernia?

The possibility of GERD is there but putting all the listed symptoms together there might be additional issues as in "body aches". If symptoms persist it is appropriate to see the PCP for a hands-on evaluation with any other necessary investigative studies.
