Likely nerve: Likely a nerve pain. Generally nerves and blood vessels travel the same paths. See your primary care MD and possibly neurologist as a referral. Good luck.

For about 3 weeks now, I have been coughing heavily. My heart, lungs and the veins running down to my legs are all painful.
When standing, vein on top of right foot running along inside ankle and up into leg is very prominent and bulging much more noticeably that left foot.
