Synovitis heel cord: At age 27, i wouldn't think that this would be arthritis. I would suspect a gait change that causes overuse with inflammation, synovitis in the toe and fasciitis in the heel. The usual culprit is a tight calf. Without an exam, i would recommend calf stretching, .

Needle pain: This sounds like nerve contusion, depending on the location at the heel , and definitely at the toe. Without a physical exam it sounds like over pronation resulting in the big toe pain. Xrays are certainly also needed to rule out bone spurs and fracture . See your podiatrist for that evaluation and x rays.
