Ibs: These symptoms could be consistent with ibs but could there also be a component of lactose intolerance? After these symptoms abdominal soreness isn't unusual but if abdominal discomfort persists and there is associated tenderness, an examination by your physician would be advisable. If it was a flare up of ibs do you have any idea of what could have set it off- diet or stress?
