I have psoriatic arthritis, raised alt (57), raised creatinine (1.27). i think i have metabolic syndrome. what is the first line treatment for this?

Lifestyle: If you're taking methotrexate for the psoriatic arthritis, that may be the explanation. You're a 34 year old man and if you exercise, you're creatinine's fine -- when I was lifting weights every day, mine ran 1.6-1.8. Do this -- eat sensibly, trim down if you've got a waistline, and run several miles daily. Metabolic syndrome or no, it'd be a great thing to do -- and it's basic Rx.
