If your liver function test only showed high ALT, dark urine in this case is not associated with liver problem because high bilirubin should be present with routine blood test. Persistently high ALT alone is not consistent with NAFLD. You should abstain from drinking if you worry about your health. With the limited information provided, I can't predict the biopsy result.
