VERY HARD TO ANSWER: with no injury a hands on exam is needed. could be due to phlebitis as a woman in your age group. Your PCP is a good place to start. more so if by the end of the day you have swelling of that leg. you would see imprints from sox, or shoes fitting tightly by end of the day. good luck!
