Preferably: Yes, you should preferably refrigerate liquid amoxicillin, but it can be kept at room temperature if you must; it is only reasonably stable for 14 days.

Yes: It loses potency after 24 hours in a hot setting, after a week at room temperature and after 14 days refrigerated.
