Hyperventilation?: One possibility for this symptom is hyperventilation (breathing faster than the body needs). By breathing out excess CO2, the blood becomes alkaline, a symptom of which is fingers and toes tingling. Hyperventilation does not need to be to an obvious degree to cause symptoms, and if this is what it turns out to be, would be harmless.
