Not usually.: usually an ultrasound of the liver can detect mild to moderate fatty liver fairly easily. If there is question, you may want to have the ultrasound reviewed by the radiologist who read it previously. good luck.

Should show up: The ultrasound and the CT should show up a fatty liver. It is great that you stopped drinking heavily. Your liver will be much healthier
