My 2 yr old is in a spica cast from a femur fracture, and went back yesterday after 1 week for x-ray and it is displaced. how does this happen?

Can happen: and is the reason in adults is stabilized by hardware ( like intra medullary rods ) Luckily children will heal very well with slight displacement , angulation and over riding, kids orthopedist is the best person to alleviate your worry
