Lump in throat: Any lesion, lump or sore in the mouth or throat that does not heal in 7-10 days, or recurs, needs to be examined clinically and visually, and possibly biopsied. Make an appt to see an oral surgeon or an ENT specialist ASAP.

Needs to be seen: It could be many things; From an infection, inflammation, ulcer, inflammed gland, tumor. You should go have it checked by an Ear nose and throat doctor. They can determine what it is. Given the duration of time you have had this I would strongly advise that you get it evaluated.
