I am concerned about a lump i found on my neck yesterday. it is hard yet movable. probably a swollen lymph node. i do not feel sick or have any symptoms of being sick. a little google searching and now im terrified that it is a tumor.

Follow up: Usually reactive lymph nodes which are not malignant resolve within 6 weeks. If you have chills, weight loss, fatigue or other symptoms, please see your PCP.

Agree with Dr. D: Lymph node: You may feel the node every couple of weeks, if the lymph gland doubles in size, becomes painful, ulcerates, or other nodes become enlarged, or you develop fever, or lose weight, you should see a doctor. Wish you good health!
