Sometimes: The liver is a large organ and is divided into segments to allow for definition of the position of a lesion. On the right side even though a hemangioma is large , if the lelsion involves segment 5 and 6 one may be able to palpate the lower placed processes. If the hemangiomas are under the rib adjacent to diaphragm in segments 7 and 8 it is probably impossible to feel the existing lesions.
