Possible: Women respond in many different ways when they are approaching menopause. Some women get heavier bleeding some lighter. Some women get very irregular periods and some just stop having periods. Everyone is different. In any case if bleeding is severe a visit to the doctor is a good idea to make sure there is no anemia or other problem
