Bruising and peroids: Easy bruising of the skin can have many causes from meds, aging, sundamage and generally shouldn't be related to heavy menstrual flow unless there is a problem with blood coagulation.

Easy bruising: Easy bruising may be related to ingestion of Aspirin and/or other anti platelet aggregating medication. Longer heavier menstrual periods are most likely unrelated to easy bruising.
