Blood: I assume you mean blood in the sputum. If you had a recent head cold with a cough and there were just a few specks of bright red blood, this doesn't sound serious as long as the cough clears and there is no further blood. However if coughing up of blood persists you must be evaluated by your physician who will order appropriate tests and xrays.
