Blood from nose: Blood from nose (epistaxis) can be due to the high heat in the midwest & most of the country right now. The heat can dry out mucous membranes causing bleeding and 'small streaks of blood phlegm' and 'when blowing nose.' you may want to see your doctor bleeding becomes excessive or persists. Topical vaseline or Bacitracin on the nasal septum may help protect the mucous membranes from drying.
